Tell us about the Cold Air Intake that comes in the HSP Max Air Flow Bundle

The Cold Air Intake inside the HSP Max Air Flow Bundle is a 4.5 Inch LBZ style intake that is made to bring in the most amount of air that can flow through a filter. Paired with HSP Diesel's signature heat shield box we are able to eliminate the unwanted hot air from getting into the intake. We do this because our testing shows that every 1-degree increase in intake air temperatures results in a 3 horsepower loss.

Tell us about the Intake Mouthpiece that comes in the HSP Max Air Flow Bundle

The Intake Mouthpiece that is in the HSP Max Air Flow Bundle is a part that makes all the difference when installed. Our Intake Mouthpiece gives you the ability to reroute your factory PCV system and remove the factory resonator box, eliminating unwanted engine oil gumming up the turbo and intake system (PCV re-route sold separately see 003-1-HSP). With hand-made transitions that give us the most efficient flow, you can be sure that when combined with the rest of this kit especially our Cold Air Intake the Intake Mouthpiece can show you the power you didn't know was there.

Tell us about the Hot Side Intercooler Tube in the HSP Max Air Flow Bundle

As we know the Hot Side Intercooler Tube on these trucks is prone to failure, this is mostly due to a tight clearance with a power steering line. The HSP Diesel Hot Side Intercooler Tube not Only fixes that problem but increases the size of the Intercooler Pipe at the same time. We do this by changing the routing of the tube to go directly to the intercooler. The HSP Diesel Hotside Intercooler Pipe is also 3 Inch in diameter and mandrel-bent to maximize flow and reduce turbulence inside the charge air system.

Tell us about the Max Flow Bridge and Cold Side Tube in the HSP Max Air Flow Bundle

Like the majority of the HSP Diesel line, the Max Flow Bridge and Cold Side Tube are increased in not Only size but also in the overall design. Our Max Flow Bridge is a two-piece design that is made to make installation easier but also eliminates common boost leak points. With a 3 Inch design we were able to also increase the flow, this matches the Cold Side Tube inside the HSP Max Air Flow Bundle. We do this to bring even flow through the entire system and increase the truck to its maximum potential.

Tell us about the 2 Inch Replacement Passenger Side Up-Pipe in the HSP Max Air Flow Bundle

The 2 Inch Replacement Passenger Side Up-Pipe is made of heavy wall 304 stainless steel tubing and paired with heavy-duty sleeve bellows. This means that the up-pipe will have less likely hood of failure and will hold up to abuse much longer than other replacements out there. The HSP Up-Pipes also flow much better than the factory due to a more even design inside the up-pipe.
