Tell us about the Hot Side Intercooler Pipe that comes in the Max Air Flow Bundle

The HSP Hot Side Intercooler Tube is a work of art. We knew that the stock tube really doesn't cut it and often fails. So we went to work to solve all these problems at once and make it look good. We beefed up the size of the intercooler tube to a 3 Inch diameter to give us the maximum amount of flow possible (up to 40 Percent increase) and increase the amount of air we can put in the tube. We also went to mandrel bends, the reason we did this is that we saw that the stock style created more turbulence and we wanted to make sure that the increased volume of air would move easily through the tube.

Tell us about the Max Flow Bridge and Cold Side Tube that comes in the Max Air Flow Bundle

The HSP Max Flow Bridge is a two-piece design to not Only prevent boost leaks but also make it easier to install. This makes a huge difference in the overall performance of the part. The Max Flow Bridge is also CNC machined to provide the maximum flow possible through the part. We pair the Max flow bridge with the HSP Diesel cold side pipe. This is done to make sure you have the maximum flow coming in and gives you the full package of cold side air in the charge air system.

Tell us about the VGT Intake Mouthpiece that comes in the Max Air Flow Bundle

The VGT Intake Mouthpiece is a stunning design that features handmade bends and a larger diameter. We do this to decrease the air turbulence to create more power and increase the amount of air that the tube can actually flow. HSP Diesel uses an O-ring style seal to make sure that the air coming into the mouthpiece is the air we want and make sure air does not escape. The HSP Diesel Intake Mouthpiece gives you the ability to reroute your factory PCV system and remove the factory resonator box, eliminating unwanted engine oil gumming up the turbo and intake system (PCV re-route sold separately see 003-1-HSP).

Tell us about the Cold Air Intake that comes in the HSP Max Air Flow Bundle

The Cold Air Intake that is inside the Max Air Flow Bundle is the piece that ties everything together. With an average of 20 horsepower increase using our 4 1/2 Inch mandrel-bent intake tube and the HSP Diesel heatshield, we have created an intake worthy of the Max Air Flow Bundle. Adding air and keeping the temperatures down makes all the difference when it comes to making power we have found that on average every 1-degree increase in intake air temps results in an average of 3hp loss.

Tell us about the passenger side up-pipe that comes in the Max Air Flow Bundle

The biggest change that the HSP Diesel Up-Pipe makes is the flow. We increased the flow due to our design as much as possible and then made it with a heavy wall 304 stainless steel tubing. This gave us strength and long-term reliability. HSP Diesel also used a heavy-duty sleeved style bellow.
