The 427-HSP or best known as the HSP Factory Replacement Coolant tank for the 2007.5-2010 LMM Duramax equipped Chevrolet and GMC trucks. The HSP Factory Replacement Coolant tank is one of those special parts that look great and function just like the factory part.

Why Would you need the HSP Factory Replacement Coolant tank for the LMM Duramax?

The factory coolant tank in the LMM Duramax is not the best-looking part under the hood. The issue is that it does work but it fails often and when it does there is nothing you can do about it other than replace it. The factory coolant tank often cracks, or fittings break and you are unable to repair either of those things. Being made out of plastic the factory coolant tank also often gets yellowed and dirty quickly and is unsightly under the hood.

What does the HSP Factory Replacement Coolant tank do differently?

To start the HSP Factory Replacement Coolant tank is made of precision-cut metal. We do this for a few reasons, first off it looks so much better when we can powder coat the tank to match or accent colors under the hood. Secondly, the metal is not going to fatigue with the heat like the factory plastic parts and crack due to that fatigue. The HSP Factory Replacement Coolant tank is a drop-in style replacement so all the factory fitting provisions are in place as well as the factory low-level coolant sensor is in place.
